If you're looking to join a forward-thinking company, learn a lot & make a big impact from day one, we'd love to meet you! Position Overview We are seeking a junior colleague to join us as a Recruiting Intern for at least
6+ months or an alternance (in France). In this role, you'll support our hiring efforts worldwide and be involved in
active recruiting, campus engagement, and talent attraction projects.
Based in Eindhoven, Paris, Florence or Milan, you will report directly to the Recruiting Manager (Gabi) but also work closely with members of the whole People team, as well as all company departments, contributing to Axelera's rapid growth.
Key Goals - Learn: Gain experience in a fast-paced, international start-up where hiring great people and doing it well is immediately instrumental to the future of the company. You would not only be coached/mentored by the Recruiting Manager but also by the wider People and all Axelera AI team who are invested in your learning.
- Hire: Jump in and help us recruit amazing talent - through screening, setting up interviews, and making sure every candidate has a great experience.
- Lead: Take charge of our campus initiatives across Europe & other recruiting projects that advance our hiring goals. The more ownership you showcase, the more independence you'll have. We'd love to see you grow in the position and shape it together with you to play to your strengths!
- Improve: Bring your fresh ideas! Help us make our recruiting smoother, faster, and more effective so we keep attracting the best talent out there. Disagree & Commit is one of our key company values after all :)
Qualifications: - Education: you're currently pursuing a Master's degree or have initial experience in the related field (HR/Psychology/Tech). This role is not available beyond a traditional university/company/student agreement.
- Active visa/work permission: you hold relevant government permissions allowing you to work in the location of your choice. At this point, we are not able to provide such sponsorship for internships.
- Language skills: you're fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken). This is a must-have given our expanding presence in Italy.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills; you're comfortable engaging with candidates, team members, and external contacts.
- Organizational skills: you're detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities & able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (we'll ask for examples! :)
- Interest in recruitment: genuine interest in recruiting, HR, and/or talent management, with a desire to learn about best practices and industry trends.
- Technical proficiency: familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn recruitment tools will be needed daily in this role.
- Team player: you'll able to hold your own AND collaborate well with team members across departments and different locations; you're open to receiving and giving feedback & eager to support team goals.
- Last but not least - high sense of ownership: you take responsibility for tasks and follow through independently; you're committed to delivering high-quality work and achieving set goals.
Location We offer a hybrid working arrangement from one of our Axelera AI offices in Italy (Florence or Milan), France (Paris) or the Netherlands (Eindhoven).
We do not offer remote internships at this point.
