Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced SEO Content Manager to develop and execute a data-driven SEO content strategy tailored for the Italian market, with a strong focus on growing SiGMA Play's organic traffic and search rankings. This role requires hands-on experience in SEO, content planning, editing, optimization, and performance analysis.
Why now?
SiGMA is doubling down on Italy, with our upcoming event in Rome set to be twice the size of our largest summit in Malta. As we scale our presence in the region, this role will be key in shaping how we connect with and engage the Italian audience through high-impact content.
Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Planning
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis focused on Italy.
• Develop and execute an SEO content roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Build and manage a structured editorial calendar for content production.
• Create detailed briefs based on keyword research and competitor benchmarking.
• Define and track metrics to monitor SEO and content performance.
Content Creation & Optimization
• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, SEO-optimized content (blog posts, landing pages, website copy).
• Optimize content for on-page SEO, including metadata, headers, internal/external linking, and image SEO.
• Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and formatting across all content.
Content Management
• Oversee the content lifecycle from ideation to publication and performance review.
• Collaborate with internal teams including writers, designers, and commercial stakeholders.
• Ensure content is distributed effectively across relevant platforms (web, blog, email, social).
Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rates, and engagement metrics.
• Generate weekly SEO performance reports and suggest data-driven content improvements.
• Identify new content opportunities (pages, blog topics, campaign hooks) using analytics insights.
Market Awareness
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and content innovations.
• Attend webinars and share relevant learnings with the team.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in SEO content management, preferably in iGaming.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and verbal).
• Deep understanding of SEO principles, content marketing, and Google algorithms.
• Strong writing and editorial skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Neuronwriter, Google Search Console, GA4).
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
• Experience managing teams or mentoring junior writers is a strong plus.
