The role ensures centralized support for one or more countries, grouped by language, from the Budapest hub. The specialist acts as the primary interface for supply chain operations (order management, logistics, vendor coordination, escalations) while ensuring alignment with corporate processes, cost optimization, and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities - Country Interface: Act as single point of contact for assigned countries or clusters (based on language: e.g., Spanish cluster, DACH cluster, Nordics).
- Order & Inventory Management: Ensure on-time ordering, accurate forecasting, and stock availability for equipment, spares, and consumables
- Logistics & Vendor Coordination: Liaise with 3PLs/LSPs, manage deliveries, returns, installations, and vendor escalations
- Performance Monitoring: Track SLA/KPI adherence, run monthly operational reviews, and drive corrective actions with vendors and country stakeholders
- Cost Control: Monitor transportation and warehousing costs, ensure vendor invoices are validated and processed accurately.
- Escalation Handling: Manage supply-related escalations, coordinate with central teams, and support country service managers.
- Process Alignment: Support implementation of new tools, process changes, and product introductions across countries.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and lean initiatives across supported countries.
- Language & Cultural Bridge: Provide local language support to ensure effective communication with customers, vendors, and local stakeholders.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Management/Supply Chain or engineering or proven work experience)
- 5-10 years in supply chain, vendor management, or logistics
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in international environments
