We are currently looking for a part-time Italian Teacher (0.4FTE over 3 days per week) at our Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) campus.
The role will initially be based at Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) and may require the candidate to work at another campus in the future.

In the Modern Foreign Languages department at SSL, all students have the opportunity to learn languages. The Modern Foreign Languages department is lively and collaborative and the students we teach are motivated and ambitious. Excellent professional development opportunities are available, and participation is encouraged. We support a range of other languages within the faculty for students wishing to sit qualifications in other languages. All staff and students are issued with a laptop as a part of the school's 1:1 initiative.
The Role:We are looking for a qualified and experienced Teacher of Italian to join our friendly and diverse Modern Foreign Languages department. We offer ab-initio Italian in the DP framework and Italian as the Language Development course in the CP. Both courses are aimed at students at the beginner level and run across 2 years. The ability to be flexible and offer mornings and afternoons rather whole days would be seen as an advantage.
The Italian teaching role is a part-time. However, an ability to offer Dutch or German as a second subject could lead to further opportunities.
Work Experience:- Experience of teaching Italian to beginners;
- Experience of IB programmes is not necessary as training will be provided;
- Able to adapt your teaching to meet the international environment of the school;
- Confident integrating EdTech into your teaching or be willing to develop these skills.
