We are inviting applications for the role of Tactical Buyer - Domain Trainee - Italian- Hybrid Bucharest
You should have a good negotiating level to do the job right and be open about a flexible time schedule as you will be handling the New Zeeland and Australia markets. We like customer management skills as well as a keen eye for details and problem solving attitude.
Responsibilities:
• Manages process improvement projects and global alignment. Clarifies the in scope activities with the client
• Ensure spend compliance by providing accurate guidelines to the purchasing team in line with Standard Operating Procedures and customer purchasing policies and ensures PR compliance for PRs
• Is responsible to negotiate the contracts, as per the procedure and for the projects to build/update the catalogues, contracts, price lists
• Is responsible for reporting activities (regular or on the spot)
• Participates at phone conferences / meetings with the client (regular or on the spot)
• Handles complicate cases that cannot follow the standard procedure (due to various reasons)
• Regularly follow up on project execution, pursuing any potential challenges/issues
• Runs regularly the status of volumes and metrics
• Reports to the direct manager, eventual process deviation or process/ system problems
• In connection with the customer Commodity Management we need you to do
• Actively participate in regular and/or ad-hoc calls/working sessions/workshops to identify and prioritize saving opportunities and project pipeline, ensure sourcing strategy alignment and present team project status on ongoing items
• Assist commodity managers with information requirements, use team language capabilities and cascade to tactical team any action required in the execution of projects
• Demonstrate partner relationship and communication
• Come and work from the office during client visits
• Savings reporting, delivery and pipeline tracking
• Ensure delivery of the team annual savings target
• Ensure timely reporting and approval of saving projects delivered by the team
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of commodity project pipeline in savings reporting tool
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Experience in negotiating
• Proficient in English & French (C1)
• Open to work early or late hours
• Supply Chain and/or purchasing background
• Excellent communication and influential skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools
• Commodity domain expertise
• Experience with ERP systems and E-Sourcing tools (Ariba), SAP
• Project management skills and end-to-end process understanding
• Previous experience in a multinational company
• Proficient in Excel usage
