As the Emergency Support Coordinator, you will be a key member of our Emergency Support Team during the summer 2026, dedicated to providing critical support to EF Language Abroad students and their families during key moments of their travel experience.

*This role requires fluent English and Italian, therefore only CVs in English that clearly state Italian fluency will be considered. Availability to work on a rotational schedule to cover the emergency phone 24/7 is required. This includes weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). Contracts starting from beginning of June till end of August 2026. Potential mandatory training dates before start may be required.

You will be answering the calls of students and parental guardians who are in potentially stressful situations daily. A calm, empathic demeanour while assessing situations and handling calls is crucial to this roles success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Call Management: Handle emergency response calls daily and provide clear, empathetic communication while redirecting calls to the appropriate teams.
• Clear Communication: Provide empathetic, accurate, and reassuring information during high-stress moments, ensuring callers feel heard and supported while waiting to be transferred.
• Customer Service: Providing top-tier customer service and support to all students and parental guardians who reach out for support during urgent situations.
• Documentation: Log all calls, key details, and actions taken in real time to maintain clear records and support incident follow-up and reporting.
• Policy Adherence: Follow all EF emergency response procedures and escalation protocols, ensuring consistent and compliant handling of every interaction.

What We're Looking For:

• Full Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Full Fluency in Italian (reading, writing, speaking)
• All additional languages are a plus
• Someone who is approachable, friendly, and handles challenges with positivity
• Solution Oriented and able to provide calm support to those in distress
• Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Full working rights in Hungary
