Sous Chef (Specialized in Italian Cuisine)

As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to create equisite dishes reflecting the essence of Italian Cusine. Your role will not only involve cooking but also supervising kitchen operations, ensuring that every guest experience is remarkable. • Assist in the Planning, preparation, and presentation of food in accordance with the established menu.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef in developing new recipes and improving menu offerings.
• Manage inventory, placing orders, and controlling food costs. Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring a consistent level of quality and creativity in every dish.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in or in a similar culinary role, preferably in Italian cuisine.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Excellent knowledge of food safety regards and quality standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

Passion for food and a keen eye for detail in presentation.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
