RoleIntegrated into the Professional Services department and reporting to the
Head of Service Delivery, the overall responsibility of the
Senior Manager - Italian Payroll is to lead the delivery of SAP HCM Payroll services for our outsourced customers and manage a team of consultants supporting Italian Payroll solutions.
Key Responsibilities• Lead and oversee the delivery of SAP HCM Payroll (Italy) application support and services for multiple customers
• Act as the main escalation point for complex payroll, system, and compliance issues
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP HCM consultants, supporting their professional development and performance
• Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with Strada best practices and customer expectations
• Oversee complex incidents, change requests, and project activities related to SAP Payroll
• Provide functional and strategic guidance on Italian payroll legislation within SAP HCM
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across Strada Italy to balance workload and ensure service continuity
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and service optimization
• Support clients during payroll-related legal changes and system updates
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and participate in service governance meetings
• Ensure documentation standards, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence within the team
• Contribute to resource planning and delivery strategy for Italian Payroll services
What we ask for• Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in
Italian and English• Extensive experience with
SAP HCM Payroll for Italy• Proven experience leading or mentoring teams in an SAP support or services environment
• Strong understanding of Italian payroll legislation and SAP payroll configuration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, customers, and delivery commitments
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills
• Strategic mindset with a focus on service improvement and delivery excellence
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accountability and ownership
• Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment
