Our IT team are looking for an Senior Java Software Engineer!

A bit about the team:

• The IT team is multicultural, young, brilliant and tireless, focused on building new products and supporting every project. 17 people that work alongside from different countries.
• Flexible working time and remote work are a rule.

What will make your day:

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management to resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and make decisions.
• Write and maintain reusable code, staying updated on the codebase and tools used daily; be open to learning new technologies as needed.
• Develop new ideas for programs, products, or features by monitoring industry trends and developments.
• Collaborate with developers to implement new features using Git Version Control System.
• Work closely with front-end team members to set objectives and design functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience, including building back-end APIs
• Identify and troubleshoot issues uncovered by customer feedback or support team reports, testing, and addressing them or escalating to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to identify areas for improvement and troubleshoot problems.

A bit more about you:

• Experience with coding languages such as JavaScript, Java, SQL.
• Experience with libraries/frameworks such as Spring.
• Experience with CICD with Bitbucket, Terraform, and GCP.
• Experience with distributed event store and stream processing platforms like Kafka.
• Proficient in using IDE, Postman, and Swagger for API testing, as well as Datagrip for database analysis and management.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Version Control Systems.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Critical thinking skills, flexibility in the workplace, and a goal-oriented, deadline-driven mindset
• Good knowledge of Italian language.
• Experience in blockchain and Fintech industry.
