Reinsurance Accountant with Italian skills.
You can look forward to- Checking and posting reinsurance statements of account from the Italian-speaking life insurance business
- Processing and creation of claims reports including technical sanction checks
- Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
- Participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
- Close collaboration and coordination with internal and external customers
You come equipped with- A degree in business administration or a comparable commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax - alternatively, you have further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation
- Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting guidelines
- Italian and English language skills at a conversational level; German is an advantage
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Initial experience in qualified accounting processes, ideally within the (re)insurance sector
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and preferably SAP knowledge
- Structured way of working with a strong sense of organisation and planning as well as analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary teams
