Reinsurance Accountant with Italian skills

Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant with Italian skills.

You can look forward to

• Checking and posting reinsurance statements of account from the Italian-speaking life insurance business
• Processing and creation of claims reports including technical sanction checks
• Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
• Participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Close collaboration and coordination with internal and external customers

You come equipped with

• A degree in business administration or a comparable commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax - alternatively, you have further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting guidelines
• Italian and English language skills at a conversational level; German is an advantage
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Initial experience in qualified accounting processes, ideally within the (re)insurance sector
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and preferably SAP knowledge
• Structured way of working with a strong sense of organisation and planning as well as analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary teams
