Role Profile
We have an excellent opportunity for an Italian speaker to join Mediolanum as a Life Services Analyst.
The Life Services team are responsible for oversight over the cross-border Branches of Mediolanum International Life dac (MIL) in Italy, Spain and Germany, as well as the related outsourced service providers. They are the "bridge" between the Head Office and the branches working in conjunction with relevant business functions in a mix of control-oriented work, regulation, reporting, problem-solving, policyholder taxation, interactions as required with fund accounting, relationship management, and projects.
As a Life Services Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the effective oversight and continuous enhancement of Mediolanum International Life's insurance portfolio. Acting as a key link between the Product Team, internal stakeholders, and MIL Branch operations, you will be responsible for the periodic preparation and analysis of portfolio reports, encompassing premiums, claims, taxation, and commissions.
Leveraging advanced digital tools and data analytics platforms, you will support the business in navigating regulatory and organizational changes, providing operational solutions and analytical insights for the adoption and launch of new product propositions. Your proactive approach will include identifying opportunities to optimize processes through technology, ensuring operational excellence and compliance in a dynamic environment.
You will collaborate across functions to deliver high-quality outcomes that support both business objectives and customer needs, championing the use of technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Duties
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate insurance portfolio reports (premiums, claims, taxation, commissions).
• Support the adoption of new products and regulatory changes by providing operational solutions and analytical insights.
• Continuously review and enhance procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance through process improvements.
• Coordinate product launches and updates, fostering teamwork and clear communication across departments.
• Proactively utilize technology and digital tools to streamline operations, drive innovation, and support business objectives.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex insurance data and deliver actionable insights.

• Proficiency in leveraging technology and digital tools, including MS Excel and MS Power BI, to optimize processes, reporting, and data visualization.

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in insurance, banking, asset management, or FinTech, ideally with exposure to life insurance and regulatory frameworks.
• Solid understanding of insurance, financial services, or related sectors, ideally with experience in life insurance products and regulatory environments.
• Experience or interest in emerging technologies (e.g., automation, analytics) is an advantage.
• Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish or German languages are a plus.
