Role overview
We're looking for a Junior Regional Marketing Specialist to help drive growth for Lodgify in Italy across content and community. In this hands-on role you'll create engaging short-form video content, nurture our Italian host community, and use AI tools and workflows to grow faster across everything we do. Working under the guidance of the Regional Marketing Director and alongside cross-functional teams, you'll execute localised marketing initiatives that support our Italian acquisition and engagement goals.

How will you make an impact?

• Create and front short-form video content for the Italian market - appearing on camera regularly - and produce social content in collaboration with the Barcelona social media & community team
• Execute localized content plans across blog, newsletter, and social channels based on established editorial guidelines, ensuring optimization for SEO/GEO and search overviews.
• Nurture and engage the Italian host community across social channels, groups and local forums - building active brand participation and genuine relationships
• Coordinate and host community-driven activations and regional events (webinars, meetups, creator collaborations), including on-camera and on-site presence
• Use AI tools and build automations (e.g. n8n) to grow faster across content and community - AI is a core part of how we work here, including for content, not just an efficiency add-on
• Support broader regional growth initiatives across events, CRM lifecycle and marketing experiments
• Track and report on channel performance, sharing practical insights with the team and keeping our tracking tools up to date

What makes you a great fit?

• ~1-2 years' experience in marketing (content, social, community or field marketing), ideally in SaaS, travel or hospitality
• Native Italian fluency alongside strong professional English skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - empathetic, warm, and a natural relationship-builder. This is one of the most important things for us: you'll be the human face of Lodgify to Italian hosts and communities, so how you connect and communicate really matters.
• Genuine comfort appearing on camera regularly, with a natural, engaging presence
• Solid Italian copywriting skills with a strong understanding of content execution and basic SEO/GEO principles.
• Tech-savvy with real enthusiasm for AI - happy using AI tools daily and building simple workflows to work smarter across channels
• Familiar with marketing & productivity tools (CRM/HubSpot, CMS/WordPress & Webflow, Notion, basic video editing software)
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative attitude
• Data-literate with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and apply learnings with guidance.

How can you earn extra bonus points?

• Hands-on experience with n8n or similar AI/automation tools.
• Knowledge of the Italian short-term rental (extralberghiero) market, compliance landscape, or broader tourism sector.
• Prior experience managing a community or personal content creation channel.

• Consistently deliver an on-brand stream of Italian video and social content, in line with the marketing schedule.
• Grow host community engagement across key Italian channels and events.
• Reliably execute assigned content and community tasks while meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
• Use AI to work faster and smarter across your day-to-day.
• Support cross-channel growth experiments and contribute directly toward team KPI targets for Italy.
