Ryanair is currently recruiting for an 
Italian Tax Specialist to join Europe's Largest Airline Group. 
This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million passengers within the next 10 years.
As a Tax Specialist, you will be working in a close knit team to provide advice on tax obligations and consequences to wider business transactions, while assisting with audits and coordinating 3rd part vendors
Main responsibilities - Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance in various jurisdictions including coordination of the preparation of the corporate tax/VAT returns with external advisers and managing relevant tax payments, with a particular emphasis on the Group's Italian tax compliance obligation,
  - Assisting with tax authority audits,
  - Preparation and review of monthly tax computations and quarterly tax provisioning under IFRS. Assisting with the maintenance of Group transfer pricing policy. 
  - Assisting with the implementation of taxation strategy across the Group.
  - Review of contracts with third party vendors and business partners.
  - Liaising with external advisors, revenue authorities and auditors on various direct and indirect tax matters.
  - Providing advice to wider Group with respect to tax consequences of business transactions.
  - Collaborating with internal finance team for the completion of statutory financial statements.
  - Work with the treasury/banking department and assist with cash movements, including distributions, loans and cash flow activities.

Requirements - Professional Italian tax qualification with 1-year post qualification experience and exposure to international tax issues in a large accountancy firm or PLC environment,
  - Fluent in Italian and English,
  - Good understanding of Finance, Tax, Accounting and HR,
  - Proficient tax professional, with demonstrable experience in payroll taxes,
  - University degree in finance, accounting and/or tax,
  - Excellent analytical skills are essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills. 
  - Fluency in English a necessity. Proficiency in Italian, French or German languages an advantage
  - Ability to learn quickly and keep up to date with developments in international tax policy.
  - Prior experience in the aviation industry an advantage.
  - A motivated, reliable and adaptable team colleague, who can proactively contribute to finding solutions.
  - Willing to travel when required.
