In this crucial role, you will be an integral part of our content moderation team, responsible for ensuring all content aligns with community guidelines and policies. Your key responsibility will be to review and moderate content, making critical decisions to ensure the platform remains a safe and welcoming space for all. This is a resident position in Lisbon, which promotes strong team synergy and a lively office atmosphere, ensuring you have the necessary support and resources to excel in your duties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Content Review & Moderation: Systematically review and moderate user-generated content, including videos and live streams, to ensure compliance with community standards and safety policies.
• Policy Enforcement: Make accurate and consistent decisions on content, applying a detailed understanding of complex and evolving content policies.
• Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate sensitive or complex content that requires further review by specialized teams.
• Data Integrity: Accurately and efficiently log all moderation decisions and actions within the internal systems, contributing to a robust database for future analysis and policy improvements.
• Feedback & Improvement: Provide valuable feedback to team leads and managers on emerging content trends and policy ambiguities to help enhance moderation processes and tools.

What You'll Need to Bring

• Language Skills: Native-level or C2 proficiency in Italian is an absolute must for effective content review. You must also have a minimum of B2 proficiency in English for internal communication, training, and collaborating with your international colleagues.
• Experience & Abilities: Previous experience in a content moderation or quality assurance role is a definite asset, but it is not a prerequisite. We will provide extensive training to the right candidate who demonstrates the proper attitude, strong decision-making abilities, and a sincere eagerness to learn. You should have a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Personal Qualities: A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining a safe online community is crucial. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team in an on-site office environment.
• Technical Aptitude: You should be tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to and navigate various internal moderation tools and systems.
