Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound reservation enquiries from Italian-speaking clients across multiple tourism channels, including phone, email, and live chat
• Process bookings for hotels, travel packages, tours, and other tourism products accurately and efficiently within internal reservation systems
• Provide Italian-speaking customers with detailed information about available tourism offerings, pricing, availability, and special promotions
• Proactively upsell and cross-sell relevant tourism services and packages to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue
• Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, always prioritising guest satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with tourism operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality end-to-end travel experience
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns related to reservations with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, bookings, and correspondence in accordance with company standards and GDPR guidelines

Requirements

• Native or fluent Italian language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role
• Valid EU passport or EU work authorisation (mandatory)
• Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or a tourism-related role is highly advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in the tourism sector
• Proficiency in English at a conversational or higher level for internal communication purposes
• Comfortable working with reservation management systems, CRM platforms, and standard office software
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic tourism environment
