We are looking for someone who can teach Italian to our Swiss students.
This role is to ensure outstanding success and progression of all students within the relevant Department through the delivery of inspirational teaching, learning and assessment.
To engage collaboratively with all Course Leads and Head of Faculty in a culture of high expectations, high standards and mutual respect.
To act as Course Lead, Tutor (as appropriate) and Assessor as necessary as part of the role.

*If you are recruited as an unqualified lecturer, you must enrol on the PGCE/Cert Ed within your first two years of employment. You are also enrolled on the fully funded Level 3 Award in Education & Training (formally known as PTLLS) shortly after you start with us, so your formal teacher training starts straight away.

Responsibilities
- To plan effectively and deliver high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
- To deliver teaching duties, tutorials (as appropriate) and student assessment.
- To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
- To set and mark internal examinations and moderate subjects/modules as appropriate.
- To deliver effective student guidance and participate in the course evaluation processes. Carry out the processes involved in completing student learning agreements.
- To proactively engage in the College's lesson observation procedures and practices
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for both your subject and for student success.
- Self-motivated with the ability to be inspirational, innovative and display initiative.
- A flexible and proactive approach; and an ability to react quickly to changes in circumstances and environment.
