Indirect Category Manager with Italian

We are looking for a Category Manager, who will work closely with the ACT Supply Chain Director and Corporate Indirect Sourcing organization. The Category Manager, reporting to the Supply Chain Director Europe, will be responsible both for Indirect assigned categories of Actuation Technologies BU in Europe and for Project Procurement in respecting of the assigned budget and to Customers needs. The Category manager is responsible activities to develop and deploy company strategies to deliver best in class Supply Chain performances, in terms for Speed, Reliability, Cost, Cash and Quality. The Category manager will proactively collaborate with ACT Global Indirect & Logistic manager in harmonization processes and purchasing strategies of Actuation Technologies.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Settle Sourcing strategy to grant Supply Chain speed, reliability, cost, cash and quality targets for assigned categories;
• Develop the suppliers' panel to set up partnerships, preferred or on demand supply agreements;
• Develop new suppliers, also partnering with Global Category Managers;
• Aligning and streamlining indirect supply base to meet BU requirements;
• Project Procurement: Strategy implementation and Cost reduction by projects accordingly to assigned budgets;
• Logistic Coordination for Actuation Europe: implement Logistic Global Strategies;
• Analyze and negotiate terms and conditions of commercial offers;
• Identify potential cost reduction opportunities on EU ACT BUs for Indirect and Logistic and scout new and better solutions;
• Orchestrate risk management and supplier relationship initiatives tailored to particular segments;
• Lead assets and investments for BUs, CAPEX included;
• Work closely with Corporate and Global Logistic ACT manager to improve overall Supply Chain processes;
• Ensure compliance with Company guidelines and Sourcing policies and procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Technical or Business Bachelor Degree;
• 3 + years of Purchasing and Material Management experience;
• Experience in Indirect, Logistic and Project Procurement buy out with a market knowledge;
• Experience in "tailor made" industrial business;
• Proficiency in English and Italian;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• SAP shown understanding;
• Deep knowledge of following categories: Casting, Metal Machining and Fabrication;
• Good shown understanding of computers, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing application programs.
