Head Chef; New York-Italian (Hong Kong)

A Head Chef opportunity has emerged for their lively New York-Italian gem in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to join a colourful, vivacious restaurant with a steeped history of culinary excellence.

The Head Chef will direct and participate in the day-to-day operations, managing stations across the kitchen, equipping and inspiring the team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes. The Head Chef will ensure the kitchen operates in a highly organised, efficient, and cost-effective manner, whilst working closely with the FOH team to ensure seamless service.

We seek candidates who have:

• 6+ years of culinary experience, with a focus on Italian cuisine,
• 3+ years of Sous Chef experience, managing large, diverse teams,
• The savviness to operate a high-volume kitchen (150 covers++/day),
• Familiarity with managing costs through efficient rostering, sourcing and purchasing, inventory control, waste-minimisation, etc.,
• A commitment to delivering and upholding personal and team excellence,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• A collaborative and flexible approach, with ability to work effectively across teams, including FOH, marketing, PR, etc.
