Job DescriptionConstance Ephelia, our luxury resort destination in Seychelles, is seeking a Guest Relations Officer with fluent Italian language skills to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Italian-speaking guests, ensuring exceptional service delivery and creating memorable experiences throughout their stay. You will work collaboratively with various departments to address guest needs, resolve concerns, and maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction that define our organisation.
- Greet and welcome Italian-speaking guests upon arrival, providing comprehensive information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions
- Serve as the primary liaison between Italian-speaking guests and resort departments, ensuring seamless communication and swift resolution of requests
- Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, implementing appropriate solutions to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain detailed guest profiles and preferences to personalise future interactions and enhance the guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, activities, and maintenance teams to fulfil guest requests promptly
- Provide cultural guidance and local recommendations to enhance guests' understanding and enjoyment of Seychelles
- Manage guest relations enquiries via telephone, email, and in-person interactions with courtesy and efficiency
- Assist with special requests, event arrangements, and bespoke experiences for guests
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback using the property management system
- Contribute to continuous improvement of guest services by sharing feedback and suggestions with management
- Support the induction of new team members and share best practices in guest relations
Qualifications- Fluent Italian language skills (written and spoken); English proficiency is essential
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management
- Proven experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality roles within a resort or hotel environment
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution experience
- Proficiency with property management systems and booking platforms
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to international guests' needs
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic IT literacy and competence with Microsoft Office applications
- Desirable experience in luxury hospitality or high-end resort operations
- Knowledge of Italian culture and familiarity with Italian travel preferences (desirable)
