What You'll Do:

The EMEA Franchisee Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and control of all franchisee transactions, re-bills and GL account reconciliations. In addition, you will provide accounting support for our Travel Agency Commission & Loyalty/Discount Programmes.

- To compile reports and ensure that invoices are produced correctly and on time.

- Reconcile and validate that all entries are correctly reflected in the accounts in the following:
- To compile reports and ensure that invoices are produced and sent to Licensees for the following items: Fees, DIC, Reservation, Taco, CDP.
- To log and resolve queries ensuring that credits are agreed or amounts are rejected in a time manner to ensure the provision in the General Ledger is kept to a minimum.
- To rebill all third-party invoices timely (CDP charges) via intercompany re-bill process to ensure that Franchisees are billed for all costs incurred on their behalf and that the accounting entries are correctly reflected.
- To control the Intercompany entries booked and ensure they get rebilled or reversed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all cash entries are handled and accounted for correctly.
- Preparation and control of all Franchise Account reconciliations and other reconciliations within the team (TACO/CDP) to ensure that all balances are current and accurate.
- Licensees Credit Control - collections of open AR.
- Be fully conversant with the Hertz Mission Vision & Values and seek to fulfil them in your day to day activities.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by Team Leader / Senior Team Leader.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in Financial/Accounting environment

Part-Qualification and actively working towards obtaining full accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA)

Knowledge:
• Advance Excel with Pivot tables and formulas (IF, AND etc).
• English plus additional language Spanish/Italian a must.
• Experience with Oracle AP/GL/AR.
• Computer literacy/systems knowledge - Microsoft office, IBM systems, Oracle, ELS, Lotus Notes, Monarch, Document Direct
