The main purpose of the role is ensuring the proper operation of the whole finance activity of the legal entity(s). The Financial Controller prepares internal and financial reports, evaluates data, and trends and provides decision support analysis.

About the job 📚

• The Finance and Accounting Controller is responsible for the legal entities Finance operations, including accounting and financial reporting.
• Execute all relevant closing activities (monthly, quarterly, year-end).
• Take part in the yearly budget and monthly forecast preparation with the managing directors and regional finance manager.
• Perform internal control activities and ad hoc administrative tasks for the given deadlines.
• Participate in external, internal financial and tax audits, ensuring fiscal compliance.

What we are looking for ⭐

• Economics or Finance & Accounting BA/BSc degree
• 3+ years full scale/GL accounting and/or finance controlling experience
• Fluency in English & Hungarian (both written and verbal)
• At least intermediate knowledge of Italian language (both written and verbal)
• Confident usage of ERP systems and MS office tools
• Excel skills and general IT literacy
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Developed analytical, Excellent interpersonal & Problem solving skills
• Ability to meet priorities and deadlines, and to work under time pressure
• Independent decision making: ability to make decisions in own scope and level, ability to recognize when support is needed
• Nice to have:

- Understanding of US GAAP and SOX & Control environment
