Position Statement The F&B Team Leader is concerned with the efficient and professional service of food and beverages within the restaurant, ensuring that the restaurant returns a budgeted profit through tight cost and stock control. This role directly supervises team members while ensuring that all guests receive optimum service in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Hilton.
What will I be doing? As the F&B Team Leader, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure all guests receive warm, attentive, and personalized service
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and wine pairings to assist guests
- Build rapport with regular customers to encourage loyalty
- Oversee smooth day-to-day restaurant operations during shifts
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Monitor table turnover and reservations to optimize seating efficiency
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ensure food and beverage presentation meets brand standards
- Conduct regular checks on service quality and cleanliness of the dining area
- Maintain consistency in service procedures and guest interactions
- Drive sales through effective upselling and promotions
- Train staff on menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques
- Support the achievement of revenue targets and KPIs
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to maintain high performance and professionalism
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate menu updates, promotions, and service expectations
- Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and adherence to company standards
- Assist in staff scheduling and manpower planning
