The Team
You'll join our dedicated legal team, working closely with colleagues across easyJet and with external legal partners. Together, we support the business in responding to consumer legal challenges, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service during times of operational disruption.
The Role
As a Consumer Claims Paralegal for Italy, you will play a key role in managing and processing legal challenges related to operational disruptions, with a focus on claims for delays and cancellations. You will review cases, decide which should be legally challenged, and ensure all systems and databases are accurate and up to date. You will handle a range of legal cases, including litigated and alternative dispute resolution claims, from start to finish. This includes meeting deadlines, preparing for trials, and using operational data to support cases. You will work closely with internal and external legal teams, advise on EU 261 legislation and consumer laws, and provide guidance to the business during times of disruption. You will also maintain records, process payments, and keep evidence and precedent databases up to date.

> Experience in aviation or dispute resolution claims
> Highly organised and able to manage a busy workload
> Self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
> Ability to influence and negotiate when needed
> Confident working with data and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
> Legal qualifications are a plus, but not essential
> Native Italian and fluent English required; additional European languages are a bonus
> Open communicator, able to build strong relationships and listen to different perspectives
> Proactive in learning and development

Practicalities
This is a full-time position based in our Luton office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days (or in the office, if preferred).
