Cash Collection Analyst - Italian-speaking

The role is working collaboratively with the EMEA Collections Team to develop and sustain business practices and/or procedures for all related processes and data related to Customer Collections and Dispute Management. The individual will also work with key external/internal partners and this interaction will require fluent language for the role being recruited. The role must demonstrate timely collection of cash for outstanding receivables in an effort to minimize DSO and support consistent inflow of cash for the company.

How You`ll make an impact:

• Manage the assigned Debtors report for timely collection of overdue invoices by contacting customers (mainly distributors) via telephone / email to understand any reasons for delays and to (help to) remove the reasons and ensure payment from the customer.
• Ensuring disputes identified are managed in a timely manner by completing initial due diligence of issues and the creation of the Case ID in situations where Customer Services are required to make further investigations
• Work closely with Cash Application team to ensure all un-applied receipts received are identified and allocated to the appropriate invoice in a timely manner.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects when required such as Audit deliverable`s & Project`s as they arise
• Work collaboratively as a team and assist in Tasks & responsibilities during the absence of colleagues.
• Participating in the investigation of problematic cases and account reconciliation.
• Ability to be dynamic and work with change to customer portfolio assignments as required.
• Work effectively with key stakeholders such as Sales operations, Credit management team, Cash application team and Customer Service team, etc.

What You'll bring:

• Ideally 4 years of Collection experience.
• Excellent telephone manner and written communications required in English and in Italian
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for interacting with individuals team members, business partners, management and customers.
• Must have a positive can-do and pro-active attitude with good time management skills.
• Excel - Must have V-Look Up, Formulas also Pivot
• SAP / ORACLE or similar AR system experience with an understanding of the Collections Management suits.
• Experience with proforma invoices and higher level analytical skills with the ability to reconcile customer accounts to include matching proforma invoices to customer invoices to cash receipts.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Having great analytical skills and mindset
