Job Description

Brand Manager (6 month FTC) London (Hybrid, 40% in office) Salary + Benefits

It's an exciting time to join Trainline. Not only are we leading the charge to empower customers globally (we operate in +40 countries) to make greener travel choices, we're also heavily investing in bolstering our brand team and capabilities to manage some epic few years ahead for the brand.

Led by our Senior Brand Manager, we're looking for an experienced Brand Manager to take responsibility for the execution and implementation of our brand marketing strategy to help us achieve our goals across Italy. You will be based in our London office.

Trainline is a well-established brand in the UK, while across Europe we are newbie with huge potential for growth due to the recent rail market liberalisation. In Italy, Trainline has been operating for more than 7 years, which means we have much work to do to capture hearts and minds, encouraging rail travellers away from road, air and incumbent apps, by providing them with reasons to establish a simpler and cheaper way to travel... and your contribution will make a big impact!

Role Responsibilities

• Execute brand campaigns effectively, working hand in hand with creative agencies and the in-house creative studio, devising campaigns timeline and schedule, and overseeing the work of both parties

• You'll be responsible for ensuring the brand identity is adhered to in campaign assets and marketing materials, ensuring we show up in a consistent and cohesive manner.

• You'll be in the detail on media plans and results, providing creative optimisations to drive engagement and incremental growth.

• You'll work with cross functional teams including legal, product and design to deliver campaigns.

• You'll manage 3rd party on boarding process / PO and payments

• You will wow our customers, supporting the Senior Brand Managers in establishing and growing our offering to target audiences, mapping this to our GTM and Marketing strategy so that we meet our performance goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Italian native with fluency in English

• A natural in leading campaigns & project management with a breadth of experience in transforming strategic plans into measurable actions

• Strong time and project management skills, a natural at working to tight deadlines.

• Experience in dealing with fast-paced product and design teams

• Experience in executing creative and messaging strategies across channels

• A personal passion in making a positive impact on the climate crisis.

• A great eye for detail and accuracy

• Creative and conceptual thinker with outstanding storytelling and presentation skills

• Comfortable analysing data, and using it to make informed decisions

• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
