We seek to recruit an experienced and passionate Italian Head Chef to join its highly successful team and lead Felici Italian Restaurant . We are looking for a creative and motivated professional with a strong background in authentic Italian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position.
• Degree in Culinary Arts will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Creative, organised and detail-oriented.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine.
• Experience with pasta, pizza, sauces, risotto, meat and seafood dishes.
• Excellent food preparation and presentation skills.
• High standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the relevant documentation and legal right to work in Cyprus.

Duties:

• Under the direction of the Executive Chef, oversee and lead the Italian Restaurant kitchen team.
• Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain and follow the recipes and quality standards established by the Executive Chef.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and plating specifications.
• Assist with menu development and contribute new Italian dishes and seasonal specials.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness and consistency.
• Monitor food preparation and storage to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Produce high-quality plates, both in presentation and taste.
• Manage, train and support kitchen staff and monitor their performance.
• Handle kitchen emergencies and troubleshoot operational issues when necessary.
• Comply with and enforce all Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach when dealing with colleagues and customers.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
