Individual accountabilities:
Responds to more advanced supplier invoices, expense reports, and payment inquiries
Supports accounting-related tasks such as tax audits.
Support other team members and managers as a subject matter expert. Review work of junior team members, help resolve escalated inquiries including complex issues, create reporting, etc.
Provides guidance in relevant accounting principles, have a strong understanding of the AP practices and end-to-end workflow of the function, and have knowledge of internal control processes and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of Fraud Awareness to ensure that correct processes are followed
Proactively identifies areas for improvement
Key shared accountabilities:
With the support of Accounts Payable Associate and Accounts Payable Analyst, takes charge to support and deliver the service level agreement on invoice processing, expense claims, payments, and customer service
Supports the AP Managers in streamlining processes, reducing errors and enhancing productivity. Also assists in KPI reporting.
Profile requirements
The candidate should have:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent
Knowledge of Italian, with the ability to confidently use the language in more than 50% of daily tasks
Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
Strong understanding, knowledge, and expertise of Arcadis AP business structures, policies, procedures, and Microsoft/ERP applications
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Good customer service skills
Breadth of experience: Working internationally, across different industries and business lines and/or functions, managing projects impacting people/issues/solutions across organizational boundaries.
Driving innovation: Involved in generating and driving innovation, engaging with clients, working with alliances and ecosystems to deliver the best outcomes.
Data and technology: Adopting data-driven decision making, leveraging data to create and demonstrate value. Tech savvy and comfortable and curious about technologies.
