LABOUR & PAYROLL SENIOR SPECIALIST (ITALIAN)

WHAT WOULD YOUR DAY TO DAY BE LIKE AT MANGO?

Your main mission will be to efficiently process and manage all aspects related to the calculation and payment of salaries for employees in Italy, as well as ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and social security regulations applicable in the country. This involves ensuring that salary payments are made accurately, correctly, and on time, processing taxes and deductions, and ensuring compliance with labor and social security regulations. You may also be involved in the development of internal policies related to payroll and the resolution of issues connected with labor relations.

Your main functions will be:

• Process the calculation of employee payrolls in accordance with labor laws and the company's internal policies.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data through controls and reviews.
• Supervise, verify, and correct information in payroll records and databases.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, absenteeism, vacations, and any other data necessary for payroll calculation.
• Manage benefits such as meal vouchers, transportation, or others.
• Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations associated with payroll (declaration and settlement of taxes and contributions to the corresponding agencies).
• Maintain and update employee information in databases, ensuring data accuracy for payment, as well as amounts to be paid, deductions, and benefits.
• Manage communications on labor, tax, and social security matters with different agencies and institutions.
• Resolve employee queries and issues.
• Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in the country (collective agreements if applicable).
• Support in obtaining and processing work permits.
• Ensure and provide rigorous information and documentation for accounting closure, audits, and inspections.
• Prepare reports and queries related to employee data.
• Provide continuous improvement proposals on processes related to the area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in compensation and benefits policies, as well as other policies of the People / Tax Department.
• Liaise with external partners and suppliers, ensuring quality of service and fee optimization.

¿WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Education in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration
• Advanced level of Excel
• Advanced level of Italian
• Advanced level of English or Spanish
• 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll management in a Labor Department.
