Your roleAs a Financial Controller, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare region-specific accounting tasks for own affiliates
- Lead data and information gathering, validation, and exchange between BPO provider, CPO provider, and affiliate organization
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Review monthly financial reporting and provide explanations for financial figures and balance sheet movement
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
- Monitor internal controls and support in achieving an efficient control environment
- Co-lead external audit processes, including tax audits
- Implement local legal, and statutory requirements and drive process improvements
- Act as an accounting subject matter expert for own affiliates
- Participate in global projects for process optimization
- Oversee in indirect tax and statutory financial statement
- Support other entities in VAT-related tasks
Your qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Economics, Accounting or a similar field
- Solid knowledge and experience in IFRS
- 3-7 years of experience in finance accounting
- Advanced knowledge of working with financial books
- Advanced experience with SAP Systems
- Professional written and verbal English and Italian skills required
