Job Purpose:

Execute and ensure procurement processes and activities in the Purchasing Center. Collaborate within the team in a range of activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services on terms that are in the organization's best interest.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Execute and ensure procurement processes applying sourcing / purchasing / corporate / divisional policies.
  • Collect, maintain data and ensure data quality maintenance and reporting on rates, catalogues supplier data / performance purchase order admin.
  • Ensure clarification of outstanding receipt of order confirmation, invoices, delivery dates, rejection / change of purchase orders.
  • Support preparation and monitoring of tenders, negotiations and supplier management.
  • Drive (execute) tactical purchasing process (non-catalogue requisitions), and ensure day-to-day / admin support (request and analyze competitive bids (3 bids and 1 buy), select suppliers, quality, delivery terms, specs for goods / services).
  • Conduct research on potential suppliers and vendors; promotions, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities.
  • Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information; to track purchase and the
  • status of orders and deliveries; and to generate purchasing reports and statistics. Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods
  • supplied;
  • Follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders with internal customers.
  • Generate required reporting, analyze reports and identify catalog improvements.
  • Provide 2nd level support - challenging issues handling, process master data changes.


Your profile should look like:

  • 0-3 year of relevant experience in commercial functions and especially in purchasing.
  • Native or C2 in Italian language.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Experience with purchasing practices and procedures is a plus.
  • Fully computer literate, with a solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Enjoy communication and interaction with people.
  • Enjoy working with data and detail orientation.
